Profile of Yoichi Yabe
Born in Tokyo in 1957. Photographer
After joining the editorial/photography department of Kaisha Publishing Co., Ltd. (1986), he began his career as a photographer.
He travels both domestically and internationally and continues to write articles, mainly for publications published by Kajisha, using photographs and short texts.
In 1999, he became independent and expanded the scope of his activities.
In addition to the Olympics and the America's Cup, he has served as the official photographer for the pinnacle of yachting events, historic boats, and famous yachtsmen, including the J Class Endeavour, Eilean/Panerai, Gitana, Cynara/Riviera, and Kojiro Shiraishi/DMG MORI, and continues to take photographs of beaches and harbors around the world.
Representative of Office Eleven Ltd. and chief photographer of Kajisha.
His books include "Seascape" and CD Photo Gallery Vol. 1-4 (all published by Kajisha).
