"Limited Edition Denim Jacket (5 pieces)" [Sustainable Product Planning]

A "denim jacket" made from leftover fabric generated during the production process will soon be completed.

In the previous article, we introduced the environmental issue of leftover fabric during the production process.

Denim is known as a durable fabric, but it has been pointed out that the production process uses large amounts of water and chemicals, placing a heavy burden on the environment.

Total environmental impact (annual) from raw material procurement to the manufacturing stage (spinning, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and transportation)
● Carbon dioxide emissions: Approximately 90,000kt (per garment: equivalent to the production of approximately 255 500ml PET bottles)
● Water consumption: Approximately 8.3 billion m3 (per piece of clothing: approximately 11 bathtubs)
● Waste materials, etc.: 45,000t (equivalent to 180 million pieces of clothing)

Skilled craftsmen carefully craft each item, making maximum use of the "leftover fabric" and "patches" that inevitably occur during the production process.

It has been decided that only 5 pieces will be available for sale on our online shop!!
All designs are one-of-a-kind and each product has a different patch motif.
